Launchy: Free Windows Keystroke Launcher

One of the coolest things about Mac is spotlight. It gives you the ability to hit the Apple key and the space bar and start typing in the name of a program you want to launch. After like two or three letters the program that you are looking for will jump to the top of the list. Ever since I have started moonlighting on the Mac a bit I have lamented not having that ability on my Windows boxes.

This is a quick little program that does just that. All you have to do is hit the Alt key and the space bar and a little window pops up at the top of the screen. Start typing the first few letters of the program that you want to use and voila, it pops up and all you need to do is hit Enter and the program starts.

Launchy is a small program that will get under your skin quickly! Check it out!

Today's My Birthday

Happy Birthday to me! And, guess who shares my birthday...why it's none other than my arch-nemisis Sony. What a great birthday surprise! Who knows, maybe someday I will destroy other people's computers just to ensure my own wealth.
